If you’ve never been to Boma, you need to put this on your Disney list for must-try’s immediately. A real hidden gem, this restaurant resort is off the beaten path unless you are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge of Disney. It is worth finding Boma, though and once you step foot inside you will understand why. The intriguing atmosphere within was created after the theme of an African marketplace. The buffet at Boma is open at dinner and breakfast with lunch being the rest period.

The buffets at breakfast and dinner are the best and largest in terms of taste and variety. There is no shortage of standard dishes from America. African inspired options are prevalent, however, such as the South African quiche called the corn beef bobotie and the dinner buffet’s peanut soup from Nigeria.

This is one of our favorites along with the Animal Kingdom Lodge in general. Your signature items for the buffet is paired best with the African wine selection and the Zebra domes, a much-coveted dessert from Boma. While you are looking out at the savannah animals, don’t forget to explore the Lodge at the Animal Kingdom!

2. Epcot Theme Park’s Biergarten Restaurant

Step into Biergarten just once and the smell of deliciousness hits you immediately. The celebration for Oktoberfest happens every day! If you’ve been to the other buffets at Disney World, you will soon know that the one at Biergarten is unlike all the others. Of course, you might see how similar this buffet is to the ones you find in Germany. The apple strudel and the Bavarian cheesecake are pure heaven. You get not one, but two buffet experiences while at Cape May. The Beach Bash Breakfast boasts of a huge buffet with all of the very best food for breakfast. This includes salmon and Mickey’s Waffles! The best part of breakfast is when Donald, Goofy, and Minnie dress up in their best attire to come right to your table! After breakfast, the restaurant closes down to prepare for the dinner buffet called Seafood and More. If you love seafood, this is one buffet you won’t be able to get enough of. Enjoy the smell of seafood by the sea. After you get your fill of crab legs, clams and shrimp, you can go ahead and eat all the ribs you want for dinner. Remember that no characters arrive for dinner. Make reservations for any or all meals of the day. You will never forget the awesome views paired with the exquisite fare.

Spectacular nighttime show Fantasmic fans are going to love the buffet at Hollywood and Vine. The good news is that the Fantasmic dining package does include Hollywood and Vine. Buffet for dinner and lunch are the same every day and include salad, pasta, bread, chicken and shrimp. What sets Hollywood and Vine apart are the characters. Each guest gets greeted by characters from Disney Junior such as Handy Manny, Sofia, Jake, and the Never-land Pirates and Doc McStuffins. This happens at the Play and Dine breakfast by Disney Junior. If your child loves Disney Junior characters, this is the only place to meet and greet them. For dinner and lunch, the venue transforms into Minnie’s Seasonal Dining. Varying themes like Summertime Dine and Springtime Dine also occur depending on the season. Minnie’s pals including Goofy, Donald, Daisy and Mickey come in their finest outfits to drop by and greet every guest. The food and dining experience truly sets Hollywood and Vine worth a try!

7. Disney’s Contemporary Resort by Chef Mickey

Our absolute favorite buffet is Chef Mickey’s. Revisiting Chef Mickey’s is a tradition for us every time we go to Disney World for a reason. A large American buffet for dinner, lunch or breakfast is available no matter how many guests you bring. The excellent experience gets even better when Disney characters including Goofy, Donald Duck, Pluto, Minnie Mouse, and Mickey Mouse all come and meet or greet the diners. Plus, Chef Mickey’s is on the Contemporary Resort of just by the Monorail. As you dine, you can watch the Monorail sailing through the resort. This place has fast reservations so reservations up to 180-days in advance is a must!

8. The Magic Kingdom Theme Park’s The Crystal Palace

Every day from start to finish, enjoy the Friendship Day Celebration at The Crystal Palace’s Magic Kingdom Restaurant. While you are in the Crystal Palace exterior, you will love the gorgeous surroundings. Wait until you go in and check out the stunning 1851 exhibit of London Crystal Palace-inspired interiors. This gorgeous location for dining features Cinderella Castle views. You can enjoy a buffet of dinner, lunch or breakfast available at the popular dining location with characters. The delicious, fresh food is overly impressive. The American cuisine buffet features never-ending food. You will love Norway’s finest dishes. The Royal Banquet Hall Akershus is a spread that is nothing short of wonderful. All the Norwegian famous dishes include fresh fruit, veggies, cheeses, cold meat and a smorgasbord of more delicious dishes. The entrees are directly served to our table. As you walk to the buffet, you get a presentation of the heartiest dishes. Lovely princesses including Snow White, Ariel, Aurora, Mulan and Belle meet and greet you as you enjoy your meal. You can even book a reservation for breakfast before the official opening of Epcot. You can finish breakfast even before the park opens and then start lining up for the popular Frozen Ever After show.
